DPDP Compliance
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), Mission Excellence in Education India is committed to respecting your digital privacy rights. This page explains how we comply with the DPDP and how you can exercise your rights as a data principal.
Scope and Applicability
This compliance page applies to all visitors of mpmissionexcellence.in, regardless of location. While our primary audience is in India, the DPDP applies to any processing of personal data of individuals in India, including data collected automatically through website interactions such as cookies, analytics tools, and server logs.
Your Rights Under DPDP
As a data principal, you have the following rights under the DPDP:
- Right to access your personal data processed by us
- Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Right to withdrawal of consent for any processing based on your consent
- Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated
Note: The DPDP does not grant rights to data portability or erasure in all cases, but you may request deletion where processing is no longer necessary or consent is withdrawn.
How We Comply
Mission Excellence in Education India does not maintain a user registration system or store personal data in databases. We use third-party analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) that collect anonymized or pseudonymized data such as IP addresses, browser types, and page views. We ensure these tools comply with DPDP requirements by:
- Using cookie banners to obtain consent where required
- Minimizing data collection to what is strictly necessary
- Ensuring third-party processors are compliant with Indian data protection standards
Data We Process
The personal data we may process includes:
- IP addresses (anonymized where possible)
- Browser and device information
- Pages visited and time spent on site
- Cookie identifiers for analytics purposes
No personally identifiable information such as names, emails, or phone numbers is collected unless voluntarily provided through our contact form.
Legal Basis for Processing
Our processing of personal data is based on:
- Legitimate interest — to improve website functionality and user experience
- Consent — for non-essential cookies and analytics tracking
We do not process sensitive personal data as defined under the DPDP.
